Tanzania's Universal Communications Service Access Fund (UCSAF) on a Benchmark Visit to Ghana.

On Monday, 19th June, 2022, the Administrator (CEO) of Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications, on behalf of the Fund, welcomed a delegation from Tanzania's Universal Communications Service Access Fund (UCSAF), on a Benchmark Visit to Ghana, to share knowledge with and learn from Ghana.

As we hold a common mandate of working towards bridging the Digital Divide as quickly as possible, our discussions focused on how we go about implementing Universal Access to Information and Communication Technologies.

Especially, we discussed how GIFEC is implementing Government's project to build an unprecedented 2,016 Telephone Sites in otherwise unserved and underserved communities, which is expected to give 3.5 Million more Ghanaians Mobile Network coverage.

The Tanzania delegation has been holding meetings with GIFEC’s Management and touring select GIFEC Sites.
